LURG MHOR EASY!
A bike is essential for this trip!

Friday 25th - Sunday 27th May 2012

Grade: H

Maps: 25

Accommodation

Dronaig bothy, or tent if you prefer. Dronaig bothy is very good and well kept.

Friday 25th May

Depart Stirling railway station at 10.00hrs and drive to Strathcarron via Fort William and Kintail. We will stop for a meal or snack en-route. It is a 2 hour cycle to Dronaig bothy.

Saturday 26th May

Munros: Bidean a'Choire Sheasgaich (945m, the little peak of the reedy corrie) - Lurg Mhor (986m, the big shank) - Meall Mor (a Munro Top) can be tagged on, but only as a special request for scramblers.

This is as remote as Fisherfield. The views over Loch Monar and into Affric are completely awesome and well worth lugging that camera for.

Sunday 27th May

Corbett: Beinn Dronaig (797m, hill of the knoll)
Worth the effort of climbing this to see where you were yesterday.

Followed by the satisfying cycle back to the welcome car and a return to Stirling with supper somewhere en-route.

Total Cost of £110 - guide
Car sharing can be arranged

A non-returnable deposit of £40 is required to confirm booking.
The balance of £70 to be paid by 12th May.
Please make all cheques payable to Janet Whyte and enclose a s.a.e. if a receipt is required.

This deposit is lodged in a Clients Deposit Account with the Bank of Scotland in Callander.
In the event of this trip being cancelled by Glen and Mountain Guides the deposit will be automatically refunded.
