We will depart from Stirling railway station at 16.00hrs and drive to Grasmere. This will take approximately 3½ hours. Enough time to get supper en-route and have a settle in chat. The following programme should prove both challenging and exciting.

Saturday 25th September

Oxendale Horseshoe: From Dungeon Ghyll Old Hotel Car Park (at head of Great Langdale) visiting Pike O'Blisco (709m), Cold Pike (695m), Crinkle Crags (866m) and Bowfell (911m) returning via The Band.
4 Wainwrights over 10 miles with 1385m of ascent! Wainwright's opinion was that Crinkle Crags gives "Lakeland's best ridge-mile".

Sunday 26th September

Western Langdales: From Dungeon Ghyll New Hotel Car Park via Jack's Rake, Pavey Ark (704m), Thunacar Knott (723m), Harrison Stickle (739m), Loft Crag (698m) and Pike O'Stickle (715m).
5 Wainwrights, 6 miles and 923m of ascent! Jack's Rake is already beckoning me big time!

Monday 27th September

Great Gable and Neighbours: From Honister Hause, using Moses' Trod Path, Great Gable (899m), Green Gable (801m), Brandreth (715m), Grey Knotts (697m) and back to Honister Hause.
4 Wainwrights in 6 miles, including superb views of Scafell Pike.
