Accomodation

Kilchoan Estate 'Byre', Inverie, Knoydart, By Mallaig PH41 4PL (Tel. 01687 462724)
Grieve's cottage is already spoken for. The Old Forge pub in the village does excellent food and we may have our celebration meal there depending on price.

Friday 16th April

We will depart from Stirling railway station at 08.00 hrs and drive to Mallaig for the 14.15 hrs ferry to Inverie, stopping at Ft. William for a meal or snack. This will enable you to buy last minute provisions. We will purchase 'group milk' to save space in the fridge. There is no shop in Inverie. After settling in we can have a 'wee stroll'.

Corbett: Sgurr Coire Choinnichean (796m) (peak of the mossy corrie)
What an incredible view.

Saturday 17th April

Munros: Ladhar Bheinn (1020m) (claw hill)
The best mountain on the Scottish mainland.

Corbetts: Ben Aden (887m) (hill of the face)
Made easier by boat in and out. But still a stonking hard walk for a Corbett compleation. Back to pairty!

Sunday 18th April

Munros: Luinne Bheinn (939m) (hill of anger) - east top - Sgurr Sgeithe - Meall Buidhe (946m) (yellow hill)
A hard unforgettable day out. Views!!!!!

Corbett: Beinn na Caillich (hill of the old woman)
Wow, the views of Ladhar Bheinn and Beinn Sgritheall are mighty impressive from here!

Monday 19th April

After packing up and getting our gear down to the pier we can have one last leisurely stroll to otter spot (did I mention the otters before?) before catching the 11.00 hrs ferry for Mallaig. If it is a grand day we will stop at the white sands of Morar before carrying on to the tearoom in Arisaig for a snack or meal. Then it is on down the road for home.
