We will depart from Stirling railway station at 16.00 hrs and drive to Keswick. This will take approximately 3½ hours. Enough time to get supper en-route and have a settle in chat. The following programme should prove challenging and exciting. |
Saturday 27th February |
Coledale Round: A mainly high level ridge walk starting from Braithewaite village.
6, 7 or 8 Wainwrights in 11 miles!
A wonderful, long, day and I'm looking forward to that Cumberland sausage already. |
Sunday 28th February |
Great Gable and Neighbours: One of the best hills in the area climbed via Moses' Trod Path and Beck Head.
4 or 5 Wainwrights in 7 miles including superb views of Scafell Pike.
We will then make the return journey to Stirling stopping at Abington for coffee. |
