Accomodation

 

Glen Affric Youth Hostel, Alltbeithe, Inverness-shire. Self catering only. Sleeping bags required.
Cannich Backpackers Hostel, Cannich, Inverness-shire. Self catering. Meals can be obtained at the pub in Cannich.

Friday 20th

 

Depart Stirling railway station at 13:00.hrs and drive to Cannich for a meal before the Munro baggers will be driven to the head of Glen Affric where we park and backpack or cycle to Glen Affric Hostel (3 hour walk). This hostel has adequate cooking facilities but no microwave! You must carry your rubbish back out! Sleeping bags required.

The Corbett strollers will be based at Cannich Backpackers Hostel.

Saturday 21th

 

Munros: An Socach (the snout) - Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan (the peak of the quarters) - Carn nan Dhu - Mullach na Dheiragain (the redder round hill)
A wonderful day!

Corbett: Bac an Eich (bank of the horse) (Strathconon)
What a tough hill this is, but the views!

Sunday 22th

 

A leisurely walk back out of Glen Affric and drive to Cannich (to let the feet recover)

Corbetts: Meallach nan Uan (little hill of the lambs) - Sgurr a'Mhuilinn (peak of the mill
Another big day with views over yesterdays monster and Strathconon.

Monday 23th

 

Munros: Mullardoch (An Socach (the snout) - An Riabhachan (the brindled hill) - Sgurr na Lapaich (the peak of the bog) - Carn nan Gobhar (cairn of the goats)
A huge day but the boat up Loch Mullardoch eases the feet a bit!

Corbetts: Beinn a'Bha'ach Ard (hill of the high byre)

Pray for a dry day! You will all be glad to put your feet up tonight, oh yeah!

Tuesday 24th

 

Munros: Toll Creagach (rocky hollow) - Tom a'Choinich (hill of the moss)
A grand finish to this trip with views over all the hills you have bagged.

Corbett: Corbetts: A group discussion for this one

Munro total cost of £200 includes self-catering accommodation, boat, transport and guide.
Corbett total cost of £180 includes self-catering accommodation, transport and guide.

A non-returnable deposit of £40 is required to confirm booking.
The balance of £160 or £140 to be paid by 6th June.
Please make all cheques payable to Janet Whyte and enclose a s.a.e. if a receipt is required.

This deposit is lodged in a Clients Deposit Account with the Bank of Scotland in Callander.
In the event of this trip being cancelled by Glen and Mountain Guides the deposit will be automatically refunded.
